You are invited to come soak in the sultry sounds of Jazz singer Teri Roiger and Bassist John Menegon as they perform selections from two of the most respected singers, Billie Holiday and Abbey Lincoln. Hot off her critically acclaimed 2012 album “Dear Abbey”, Teri is now releasing a tribute to Billie Holiday. Accompanying Teri will be long time collaborator Bassist John Menegon. John has played and recorded with the likes of Pat Metheny, Dewey Redman, Jack DeJohnette, and David ‘Fathead’ Newman. COCO’s own Michael Menegon will be joining the duo on percussion.

“Roiger has a voice like the finest bittersweet chocolate full of rich, dark, contradictory flavours that miraculously blend to create one of the most original vocal instruments in decades.”                            Vic Gabarini – PB Magazine

“When singing Billie’s tunes, Teri clearly demonstrates she has the necessary soul but she also has the heart, and the affection comes through every note.” Steve Jankowski, Jazz Improv Magazine

“Canadian-bred John Menegon is in the line of George Mraz and Michael Moore; a harmonically sophisticated bassist with technical facility who swings hard when it’s called for.”                    Kirk Silsbee, Downbeat Magazine (four-star review!)

Combine the music in COCO’s intimate setting with handcrafted organic chocolates, pour-over coffees and ice cream and your evening is complete.

PWYC Seating is limited & intimate …..  First Come first served.
