A Place to Call Home

Chocolate is generally not a summer food item that gets consumed in great quantities. So, it’s the perfect time to work on new ideas, experiment and perfect new flavours and, for this chocolatier, find a little piece of retail heaven.   In a city the size of Toronto you’d think that would be easy-peasy, but not as easy as you’d think.  Toronto is made up of little sections or villages each with their own distinct personality.  Some of them are really nice, but crazy-expensive, others are affordable, but you need serious life insurance to walk down the street at night.  Most likely, I’ll be looking for somewhere in between the two – a cozy little spot with some character – oh, and of course, within cycling distance 🙂  Hey, if you hear of anything – drop me a line!
