#Books and #Chocolate are a great pairing for any gift. On Saturday, December 7th the good people at BookThugs Publishers are setting up a Pop-Up Poetry #Sale here at COCO Crafted Organic Chocolates with a collection of top Canadian poets. Drop by from 1pm to 6pm.
After our very successful Smores evening, I thought it might be nice to have a Smores experience without the fire. These scrumptious offerings start with a layer of chocolate, then a crisp buttery cookie, topped with our handmade vanilla marshmallows and creamy caramel. If that isn’t enough, the whole thing is smothered in dark chocolate. Thanks to one of our customers for the name – as she said after tasting, they’ll definitely want MORE!
COCO is one of the nominees for “Best Chocolate” in the NOW Magazine “Best of Toronto” survey. If you’d like to vote for us, please follow this link.
Thanks to everyone for your support!

The best gift for Dad? Any gift is a good gift for a Dad but add chocolate to it and then it’s a great gift – like his own Jar of Sweet and Salty Walnuts with one of our #1 Dad Bars, Bicycle Bars, Chocolate Guitars & Musical Notes or Chocolate covered Espresso Beans. Or just treat him to one of our Ice Creams – Salted Caramel, Coffee CoCo Crunch or Melted Chocolate. Whatever you choose, he’s sure to love it.
The second installation of our TroubadourSlaves Series features the poetic melodies of Mark Martyre – April 18, 7pm – 10pm.
Mark Martyre is a Canadian writer and musician whose latest album, Down, Record has received critical acclaim and has garnered national and international attention. He’s been compared to other notable songwriters like Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, and Bob Dylan, and has been heralded as a “troubadour for a new age,” by music reviewers. One reviewer wrote, “He’s the kind of artist that if you were at a bar, and he just stepped up and started playing, you would stop what you’re doing and listen. …You don’t need gimmicks and half naked people and pyrotechnics all the time. You need talent, and this guy is chock full of it.” For more information visit www.markmartyre.com.
Special desserts are prepared for each series along with our organic coffee and hot chocolates.
